SPD rebels happy about the return of member rights

The Hessian SPD has the dispute over its four party rebels defused: The SPD-South County Dublin on Monday evening had the emergency measures against Carmen Everts and Jürgen Walter repealed. For the removal of the member rights existed "no longer", because both her resignation in writing by all SPD offices and functions were explained, informed the association. Walter and Everts were both very relieved about the move: "This is damage to the party and away in a first step of freedom of mandate into account," responded Everts and Walter easier.

The sigh of relief extended not only to the SPD: Even the Greens welcomed the step, but they had feared that an exclusion of the two SPD members of the establishment of procedures for the upcoming state in January legal grounds for contesting the election may have existed . Whether Everts and Walter now for the new council candidates to let them open. "Because I must first look," said Walter this newspaper. Everts was the possibility of a candidacy is also still open. Their previous constituencies have already been announced, however, they do not want to back up. And then there were still concerns about their cooperation with the Left Party, as was a re-establishment as the SPD candidate, but "rather difficult," admitted Everts On.
